Loi Krathong is a vibrant festival celebrated across various regions of Thailand, each having its unique customs and traditions. This captivating celebration occurs annually on the 15th day of the 12th lunar month, usually falling in November. Sky lanterns, or khom, play a significant role in the festivities, with the "Yi Peng" tradition in the North being one of the most famous. In 2023, Loi Krathong Day falls on November 28th, making it the perfect time to explore the diverse customs throughout Thailand.
